Visiting Nations at EORS
EORS 2024 welcomes the Nordic Orthopaedic Federation and International Orthopaedic Diversity Alliance as visiting nations.
The Nordic Orthopaedic Federation (NOF) was established in 1919 and has for more than 100 years been a Nordic gathering place for clinicians and researchers driving orthopaedic innovation.
Today the Nordic Orthopaedic Federation represents more than 5,500 orthopaedic surgeons from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, The Netherlands, Lithuania and Estonia.
The Nordic Orthopaedic Federation is the owner of the peer-reviewed and non-profit electronic, immediate open access journal, Acta Orthopaedica.
The International Orthopaedic Diversity Alliance is a worldwide collaboration with a vision to unite leaders in orthopaedic surgery and industry to promote diversity, equity and inclusion. IODA aims to provide a global forum to promote diversity in orthopaedics through wide engagement, development of resources, support of diversity efforts and research.
Membership is free and open to all in the healthcare sector.
The IODA Board has 12 members, including six regional representatives (Africa, the Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and North America. The Board is supported by five Committees that progress IODA’s core activities.
This partnership would seek to encourage the diversity, inclusion and equality within Orthopaedics (research and surgery) and build upon the work of our equal representation committee at EORS.
